The Quarter Test
Definition
A rule of thumb for repair or replace: most rock chips smaller than a quarter, and cracks shorter than a dollar bill, can be repaired instead of replaced. Damage in the driver’s view or near the edge of the glass often needs a new windshield. Z-1 Glass looks at every chip and crack in person before recommending a repair or a replacement.
